To be eligible for certification, Inform USA requires at least:

  • 1 full year of employment in I&R for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of employment in I&R for applicants with an Associate’s degree
  • 3 years of employment in I&R for applicants with a High School diploma or GED.
  • 4 + years of I&R employment covers the eligibility criteria without the need to submit academic documentation.

Alternate Eligibility Pathway

Applicants with an Associate’s degree or lower may qualify to take the exam sooner by completing a Fundamentals Certificate course online. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to take the exam after gaining 12 months of related work experience, regardless of your education level.
