After every disaster event, there are lessons to be learned. Unfortunately, knowledge gained is lost, forgotten, or never shared. An After Action Report/Review (AAR) is a formal process to capture and share lessons learned, observations, failures, and successes during an event. This webinar will show you how to conduct an AAR, avoid some of the pitfalls during an AAR, and get the most out of your AAR.

Participants in this session can expect to…

  1. Understand After-Action Reports (AAR) goals and objectives as disaster response protocols.

  2. Learn who should participate in an AAR and what preparations should be made to ensure its usefulness and success.

  3. Learn about when and how to conduct an AAR.
